Group Home Residential Services
At Triumph Residential Services, we believe in building meaningful connections beyond our home. Our Community Engagement program is designed to help residents actively participate in local events, volunteer opportunities, and social initiatives. Through these experiences, we aim to foster a sense of belonging, develop life skills, and promote positive relationships within the community.
Group Day Support Services
Group Day Services are provided in groups of no more than one staff to seven individuals. They provide opportunities for peer interactions, community integration, career planning and enhancement of social networks. Supports may also be provided to ensure an individual’s health and safety.

Hours of Operation: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM Daily Schedule
- 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Morning Welcome & Daily Orientation
Greet clients as they arrive. Snacks and coffee w/individuals Review the day’s schedule and set daily goals. Engage in a short morning energizer activity (e.g., mindfulness breathing or motivational quotes).
- 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Social Skills Development Topics:
Effective communication and listening. Building positive relationships. Conflict resolution and teamwork. Activities: Role-playing scenarios. Group discussions or storytelling. Icebreaker games to promote interaction. Behavior and Anger Management Topics: Recognizing emotions and triggers. Healthy coping strategies for stress and anger. Practicing self-regulation techniques. Activities: Guided discussions and worksheets. Practice deep breathing and relaxation techniques. Engage in “what would you do?” scenarios to problem-solve.
- 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Art and Music Therapy Activities:
Painting, drawing, or crafting projects to foster creativity. Explore different musical instruments or rhythms. Group singing or karaoke to enhance social bonds. Outcomes: Boost self-expression and reduce anxiety. Promote sensory engagement and fine motor skills.

Lunch Encourage independent dining skills.
Practice table etiquette and meal preparation discussions.
- 11:45 AM – 12:15 PM
Technology, Keyboarding, and Internet Skills Topics:
Basic computer skills (e.g., typing, using a mouse, opening applications). Safe and appropriate internet usage. Introduction to digital communication (e.g., email or social media basics). Activities: Typing games and exercises. Exploring educational apps or websites. Practicing basic internet searches for specific topics.
- 12:15 PM – 1:00 PM
Fitness, Recreation, and Relaxation Activities:
Group exercise sessions (e.g., yoga, stretching, or light aerobics). Outdoor recreation like walking or simple games. Relaxation exercises such as guided meditation or storytelling. Outcomes: Promote physical health and stress relief. Foster teamwork through recreational activities.
- 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM
Functional Academics Topics:
Counting and managing money. Basic reading and comprehension skills. Writing practice (e.g., name writing, simple sentences). Activities: Play money-based games to practice transactions. Reading short stories followed by comprehension questions. Writing postcards or thank-you notes.
- 1:45 PM – 2:30 PM
Dining and Domestic Skills Topics:
etting and clearing a table. Cleaning tasks like trash collection, wiping tables or sweeping. Basic cooking or meal prep activities. Activities: Practice making a simple snack or drink. Role-play household chores. Discuss healthy eating habits and kitchen safety.
- 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Daily Reflection & Dismissal Reflect on achievements for the day.
Share personal highlights or challenges. Prepare for departure with positive affirmations. Weekly Rotations & Enrichment Themes Rotate focus areas weekly to maintain engagement (e.g., cultural arts, health week, or technology focus). Plan special events, guest speakers, or community outings aligned with curriculum topics.
